Bella Balla is a free interpretation of Gino Severini's painting *Mare = Ballerina* (1913). Gino Severini (1883–1966) sought to merge the sea and a ballerina into one metaphorical reality.
In my version, the dancer emerges more clearly and is seamlessly integrated with the surrounding color planes. The swaying figure, dressed in an Art Deco-inspired outfit, represents a modern elegance in dialogue with Severini's original idiom. Together, they form a new narrative where figure and form bridge the gap between abstraction and figuration.
