The Three Graces – a mythological trio of sisters with roots in ancient Greece – symbolized beauty, grace and charm. As the daughters of Zeus, they were the ideals of contemporary femininity.
In this interpretation, the classic theme is given a modern twist. Instead of the traditional virtues, my graces represent contemporary individualism: anger, jealousy, and selfishness.
Through an expressive and colorful idiom, the work explores these contradictions – a tribute to a more complex and diverse trio of women, reflecting the emotions and experiences of our own time.
