In the 1950s and 60s, leading modernist architects and designers – including Eero Saarinen – began to develop sunken seating areas for both private homes and public spaces. The conversation pit as an architectural typology: a room within a room, created for presence and conversation.
Conversation Pit is Edvardas' interpretation of this space – where architecture becomes a symbol of social interaction. Strong personalities and vibrant colours create an atmosphere of belonging, an invitation to sit down and linger in interesting company.

A Conversation Pit was originally a sunken seating area integrated into the floor of larger rooms—designed to bring people together for informal conversations and socializing.
