More about this artwork

Inspired by Georges de la Tour's theatrical gestures and gaze, this motif reflects a postmodern condition where we constantly stage ourselves.
The card games suggest a power play between the characters, with erotic undertones: What happens when the loser in the game is left without clothes, or who is really tricking whom?
