Bella Balla is a fusion of fashion and modernism, inspired by Landscape Forces, Watermelon (1917–1918) by Giacomo Balla (1871–1958), the visionary pioneer of Futurism.
This early Italian avant-garde movement celebrated the energy and speed of modern life through bold and innovative forms—a phrase I have reinterpreted here in Modernistas, a series that honors the scientific and artistic legacy of modernism while taking a boundless, art-historical leap into the present.
