Collection: Women as landscape

Named after Edvarda, the woman in Knut Hamsun's novel Pan, I have always felt a kinship with his writing. In this photo series, Hamsun's literary universe and my visual world meet - where the depth of the characters and the power of the stories give new life to both images and books.

The collection consists of prints inspired by Pan, Victoria, Mysteries, Benoni and Rosa – a meeting between Hamsun's masterpieces and the Norwegian landscapes he described, woven together with his distinctive female figures.
