About the artwork;
Abstract expressionism is a common term for several event-based ways of creating paintings. One of them is “action painting”, where a drip and splash technique is defined as the artist’s personal expression. Jackson Pollock became world famous for his action paintings. A limited selection of colors were energetically distributed across the canvas by pouring, spraying or dripping the paint over with sticks, brooms or straight-from-the-box paint. “Reading” the paint was in itself an experience. Here, the abstract idea is reversed. Two non-binary figures dressed in retro “She -Suits” acts as a figurative image fused with the abstract redemption.
